Are there certain books that just capture your attention? 📚
You know, the ones that you find yourself snapping a photo 📸 to remember to buy or check out?
Well, I am no different, although many of those pictures are taken at work as they come across my desk. That will explain some of the stickers you may see.
Do you happen to see a theme? I don't know why, but if it has any of the following words (book, library, bookstore, etc.), I am immediately interested in learning more!
These eight books are just a few that you will find on my TBR list. They have captured my attention, and will most likely be read before the year is up.
The first one, The Finders Keepers Library by Annie Rains was one that I grabbed out of my coworker's mailbox to take the photo. Before you judge me on that, she was sitting nearby & gave me permission. 😊

These last two books have already made it past the TBR list, and have already forced me into reading them immediately.
The Last Chance Library by Freya Sampson was absolutely wonderful. It was the author's debut novel, and I think I found a new author to follow!
Have you read any of these books? 📚 What did you think? 🤔 Do you have a passion, or theme, that seems to appear in your TBR list?
Let me know in the comments. I would love to know your thoughts!
I have only seen a couple of the covers of your TBR list. I like certain authors and tend to look for theirs first. Since I started following one and have since added my name to a list of others, my TBR list has grown as I would like to find and catch up to where I started following them. Finding new authors to read is fun, like meeting and making new friends. 😁
ReplyDeleteI have several authors I follow, too. I tend to read the ones off my TBR list in between my favorite authors' books. But my TBR list never ends! I love finding debut authors, because it's like a surprise. You don't know what to expect yet!
ReplyDeleteI recently read two young adult romances that fit your theme! The Bookworm Crush which was okay and Bookish and the Beast which I really enjoyed!
ReplyDeleteRecently I've been loading my TBR shelf with too many complicated religious studies texts. (Same God Other God, God: An Anatomy, Yahweh and the Origins of Ancient Israel, The Consuming Fire, Paul and Jesus). I need to take a break with some mindless fun!
Devon, I apologize for the late reply. New blog, and I had forgotten that I had comment moderation turned on. I had missed this comment.
ReplyDeleteI will have to check on those two books soon. I like reading YA books, and those sound interesting. And yes, it does sound like it is time to take a good break with some mindless fun!
